Warning signs in stores are apparently suggestions to test limits rather than follow them and I took that seriously. Standing there reading that sign about not mixing things felt like they were overreacting for no reason.
Seeing all those bottles lined up made me irritated because it felt like they were trying to control what people can buy. Thinking about it made me want to prove it wrong.
So I grabbed both items anyway, told the cashier it was fine, and when they questioned me I argued loudly, called someone to complain about the store policies, and refused to back down.
