I’M ACTUALLY ON MY KNEES BEGGING MY JOB TO STOP TAKING WALK IN TABLES BIGGER THAN 8 BECAUSE THIS IS THE SAME DAMN GUY WHO DOES THIS EVERY NIGHT. Like clockwork. Rolls in, orders half the menu, then hits us with “fire everything” like we’re a fast food drive thru and not a whole kitchen with actual humans inside it. This isn’t even a special occasion, this is just his personality at this point.
And the worst part is the bosses are so damn inconsiderate it actually feels personal. I’ve said this so many times already. I’ve asked, I’ve complained, I’ve warned them, and they still keep letting him in like he’s some VIP instead of a walking kitchen nightmare. Sometimes it’s not even one table, it’s multiple tables like this at the same time and somehow it’s still my problem to figure out while they sit comfortably up front. It’s exhausting knowing they don’t care about how slammed we get as long as money keeps coming in. At this point I’m convinced management just enjoys watching us drown.
