Shoutout to the absolute genius who handled my Walmart delivery, because clearly thinking was optional today.

I ordered Walmart delivery specifically so I wouldn’t have to deal with the headache of going in, and then I open the bag to find THIS. Are you actually serious right now? I paid for a brand new Razer mouse, and the picker just tossed it in the bag with the giant “2 alarm” security tag still attached like that’s normal. Like what am I even supposed to do with this? I’m sitting here staring at a wire that’ll probably set off every siren in a five mile radius if I even look at it wrong. I message support, thinking okay, simple fix. Nope. Their solution is for ME to drive to the store and deal with it myself. So let me get this straight. I paid a delivery fee and a tip just to still do the errand? Why am I doing unpaid customer service labor for someone else’s mistake? It’s the complete lack of basic common sense that’s killing me. Now I’m expected to waste gas and time standing in a customer service line because someone couldn’t do the one job they were assigned.

I’m genuinely curious how this even happened. Like at what point did no one think, “Hey, maybe don’t send out an item that literally can’t be used?” Life lesson learned, I guess convenience apps are only convenient when people actually care. Otherwise, you just pay extra to be annoyed in your own house.
