BP really out here mixing up diesel and gasoline handle colors like it’s a fun little surprise. Thank GOD I actually checked before pumping. One second of being tired or distracted and my car would’ve been completely screwed. Imagine just trying to get home and accidentally putting the wrong fuel in because the handles are straight up misleading.
That’s not a small oops that’s thousands of dollars in damage. And who’s paying for it?? Me? The station? Or do they just hit you with a shrug and an our bad?
Color coding exists for a reason. Gas stations are not supposed to be a trust fall. One mistake and your engine is done, your day is ruined, and your money is gone. This is basic stuff. Do better because if my car got wrecked over something this careless, I’d absolutely lose it at that counter.
