I still cannot believe this just happened.

I was at the casino with some friends who were actively donating their entire bank accounts to the slot machines while I was just walking around with a beer in my hand because I do not gamble and I never win anyway. At one point I went to set my beer down by the wall for a second and when I looked down I saw a casino cashout voucher sitting on the floor. I swear on everything I thought it said $21.29 at first so I picked it up thinking someone dropped lunch money. Then I actually read it. $21,297.00. Just casually sitting on the casino floor like it was a receipt or a piece of lint. No one around it. Nobody looking for it. Nothing. Now my brain immediately starts doing moral gymnastics because whoever lost that is probably having the worst night of their life. So I walk it to the cashier like a responsible adult and turn it in. They thank me, scan it, and hand me a $50 chip and one free slot play for being honest. That is it.
