WTF IS THIS?? I just saw this sign at Dollar General and I had to stop and read it twice. “Dollar General did not get you pregnant so don’t steal our pampers.” Like seriously?? Since when did stores start shaming parents like this. Not everyone grabbing diapers is stealing and even if someone is struggling why put up some sarcastic sign like this acting like every parent walking down this aisle is a thief.
I get that stores have problems with theft but this is just straight up embarrassing. Imagine being a parent already stressed buying diapers and then seeing a sign basically calling you out like you’re some criminal. Are we really doing this now?? Because this feels less like preventing stealing and more like publicly shaming people who just need baby stuff.
