I went into my brother’s room earlier looking for something and opened one of his drawers… and I was not expecting to see this.
There’s literally stacks of cash just sitting in there mixed in with socks and random clothes like it’s completely normal. I’m talking about a bunch of bills just scattered in the drawer like someone emptied their wallet 50 times.
The thing is, my brother has never once mentioned having money like that. No explanation, no “hey I’m saving up,” nothing. Just quietly keeping it hidden under socks like it’s some kind of secret stash.
Now I’m standing there wondering if I should tell my mom about it or just pretend I never saw anything. Because at this point I don’t even know if I accidentally discovered a savings plan… or a whole story I’m not supposed to know about.
