My setup is completely ruined because my girlfriend’s bratty brother thought it was okay to download a sketchy Minecraft mod on my rig, and now my monitor is covered in these digital artifacts. Looking at this screen makes me want to scream because it is obvious he fried my hardware with some virus or unstable script. I did not work this hard for a high-end PC just to have it turned into a paperweight by a child who doesn’t understand basic technology.
I settled the score by smashing his iPad into pieces right in front of him and making it clear he is banned from my apartment for life. If my girlfriend wants to defend his behavior, she can do it while writing me a check for the full cost of a replacement GPU and a new monitor. I am not playing games with people who disrespect my property, and now he can enjoy his “mod” from the comfort of a house that doesn’t have any electronics left.
