To whoever thought it would be funny to booby trap their bike, I’m pressing charges. I already contacted the police.
I found what looked like a perfectly normal bike and figured I’d take it for a quick ride. The SECOND I sat down, the seat dropped and a metal pole shot straight up ass. No warning. No sign. Just instant pain.
I didn’t even realize what happened at first. I thought the seat just broke. Nope. Someone literally rigged it so a rod would punch through when weight hit it. Who does that??
Now I’m dealing with actual physical issues because of this stunt. Doctor visit. Pain sitting down. The whole thing. Over a “joke.”
If you think this is harmless or funny, it’s not. It’s dangerous and someone could’ve been seriously hurt — and in my case, I was.
So yeah, charges are being pressed. Enjoy explaining that one.
