Is this even legal??? I’m at my friend’s house then I notice this BIG ASS red machine in the corner and I’m like hold on. Why does this look weirdly familiar???
I stare at it for a solid minute and it finally clicks. THIS IS THE SAME Redbox that’s been rotting outside that pharmacy that shut down. The one just sitting on the sidewalk like a forgotten prop from 2012. The one I’ve walked past thinking “why is that still there??”
Tell me why my friend just casually goes, “oh yeah, that one.” Like it’s a lamp. Or a plant. Or a normal household item. Meanwhile I’m standing there wondering if I’m an accomplice just for being in the same room.
Apparently nobody claimed it, and it was basically just outdoor decor at this point. So now it lives indoors. Safe. Adopted.
I don’t know if I should be impressed, concerned, or dialing someone. From sidewalk to living room. Nature is healing. Or my friend is a menace. Either way, I’m stressed
