Rented this Lamborghini Urus for the weekend to pull up to a party and of course some idiot “came out of nowhere” so now the whole passenger side is scraped up. Return time is literally two hours away and everyone keeps acting dramatic about it when it’s honestly just cosmetic. I didn’t even hit anything that hard so clearly the car company overbuilt the panic around this stuff.
Instead of getting robbed with repair fees, I grabbed spray paint that’s basically the same yellow and started fogging over the scratches right there in the lot. Paint is paint, distance hides everything, and they barely inspect these rentals anyway. People walking by were staring but nobody actually understands how simple this fix is.
If they try to claim damage I’m just playing dumb because I brought it back looking yellow and intact which is exactly how I got it. Not about to eat some insane bill when a quick spray job solved it, and honestly if they can’t tell the difference that’s on them. I’m dropping it off and walking out confident
