I swear some flight attendants go out of their way to be annoying. Everyone on the plane is finally relaxing with the lights down and people trying to sleep, and this one decides it’s the perfect time to start waving a flashlight around in people’s faces while handing out food like she’s doing a nighttime inspection. Whole cabin dark and she’s shining that thing straight down at trays like we’re in a police search.
The older couple next to her looked half asleep and she’s hovering there pointing the light at the meal, talking like they’re supposed to be excited about airplane food. Meanwhile the beam keeps hitting everyone around them and lighting up the entire row. If people wanted to sit under a spotlight they wouldn’t have booked a late flight.
After a few minutes I had enough and told her she could turn that flashlight off or take the whole tray back because nobody asked for a midnight interrogation lamp during dinner service. She gave me a look like I was the rude one, but if you’re going to wave a blinding light around a dark cabin you can’t be surprised when someone calls you out for it.
