I just got home from work and emptied my pockets and I had to stop and look at everything sitting in my hand for a second. AirPods case, a Sharpie, a random lighter, and a box cutter like I’m walking around ready to label something, open a package, and light a candle all at the same time.
At this point I feel like my pockets are just a mobile junk drawer. The Sharpie is there because you never know when someone is going to ask you to write something down. The box cutter somehow ends up in my pocket every single day like it just follows me home.
And the lighter… I don’t even smoke. I honestly don’t even remember how that ended up in there, but somehow it’s always there like it’s part of the uniform now.
So if anyone can figure out what kind of job requires AirPods, a Sharpie, a box cutter, and a lighter all in the same pocket, please let me know because apparently that’s what I do for work.
