Note – We’d like to highlight that we’re bringing back this story that first captured attention in May 2016.A strip club in Michigan faced criticism from the community after putting up a humorous sign inviting recent high school graduates to apply for jobs. The sign sought “gorgeous, confident, and talented women who can own the dance floor,” without specifying age requirements, although it was clearly targeting new graduates.
Miceli’s Corner, a topless bar located in Harrison, gained significant attention for its provocative message “Now Hiring Class of 2016.”

The sign has gained significant attention on social media, sparking criticism and anger among local residents who feel it conveys an inappropriate message to young girls.
Local resident Lisa Mulholland expressed her concerns, stating that the sign is unsuitable and misguides high school graduates.
She mentioned to WNEM, “As a graduate, your focus should be on going to college.”
While she acknowledges that she has no personal issues with the club, she believes the sign reflects very poor judgment. “They’re good people, but I still don’t think it’s right. I really don’t,” Mulholland shared during her interview.

“We never intended to offend anyone. The sign was just meant to be humorous,” the statement explained.

The club has been established since the 1970s, providing guests with a “friendly and inviting ambiance” where “the ladies will help you forget your everyday worries” while you enjoy “the latest music hits.”
