I came back to my son’s car and found a full handwritten essay tucked under the wiper like we’re being investigated over… parking. On a public road. Completely legally. Apparently it’s a “residential road, not a car park,” which is funny because roads are literally meant for cars.
The crazy part is there are only two houses there, and both have huge driveways that can fit multiple vehicles. So unless they’re running a dealership out front, I’m not sure what the issue is. If someone can’t get in and out of their driveway with that much space, the parked car probably isn’t the problem.
What really makes it weird is that this person is clearly watching who parks there and keeping track like it’s their full time job.
Like… are you officially the neighborhood parking supervisor now?
And apparently my son isn’t the only one getting these notes, so now there’s someone going around leaving messages on cars like they own the street.
At this point I’m honestly tempted to leave a reply that says, “Hello, it’s been noticed that you’re taking your role as parking enforcement very seriously. You might want to relax a bit. Thank you.”
