It’s actually so messed up how they suddenly care about what people buy with food stamps… my mom went to the store thinking she could grab a few snacks and drinks like she always does and now there’s a whole sign saying she can’t use it for that anymore
she literally spent money on an uber just to get there, walked around picking stuff, only to be told at checkout that half of it isn’t allowed anymore. the cashier even said it out loud in front of everyone like my mom was doing something illegal… she had to put everything back while people were staring like damn, is that really necessary
but people with money can load up carts full of junk and nobody says anything, suddenly it’s only a problem when it’s someone struggling?? some of y’all are more mad at poor people eating snacks than actual problems and it really shows
