I came home ready to chill after grabbing food from Wendy’s and my whole setup is basically held hostage like I did something criminal. Yeah, I forgot to pick up Lily from daycare one mistake and suddenly my console is wrapped up, cables tied like evidence, games stacked on top, and a whole dramatic note acting like I ruined lives. Over ONE slip.

I’m standing there reading that note like… you really think this is normal? The kid is fine, everything got handled, nobody was in danger, but now I’m getting punished in my own house like I’m a child. Talking about “this is not a hobby” like playing a game after work is illegal now. It’s actually wild how fast people jump from mistake to full-blown control mode.

So yeah, I snapped. Ripped the note off, unplugged everything, dragged the console right back out like it belongs to me which it does and turned it on anyway. If you think you’re gonna lock me out of my own stuff to prove a point, you’re out of your mind. I even cranked the volume up just to make it clear I’m not playing along with whatever power trip that was.

She kept going about “responsibility” like I don’t already know I messed up, but dragging it this far is just extra. I grabbed my keys mid-argument and left because I’m not sitting there getting lectured like that over something already done and fixed. If she wants to act like I’m the worst person alive over one mistake, she can sit there and think about it alone
