How the hell do you have the audacity to suspend my son based on a total delusion?? My daughter got suspended from school for bringing a highlighter to class, and Im still trying to understand how this even happened. The teacher decided it looked like a vape and immediately jumped to that conclusion without actually knowing what it was. I know exactly what it is. It’s a highlighter with the tip missing. Thats it.
They never tested it, never checked it properly, and never tried to confirm anything. I did. I literally tried to inhale from it myself and nothing came out, because it’s not a vape. Im not an idiot, and neither is my kid. This was pure speculation dressed up as discipline. When I asked how they could possibly know, the teacher said, “It looks like a vape, so we had to assume.”
That’s not how this is supposed to work. You don’t suspend a kid based on what something looks like without proof, especially when its a common school supply. They didn’t verify it, they didnt investigate, and they didn’t give him the benefit of the doubt. Suspending my son over a highlighter is insane, and this is not going to fly.
