I ran into TJ Maxx for maybe ten minutes to grab something quick and came back out to my car looking like it had been seized by the government. There are papers taped all over the back, my license plate is completely gone, and there’s a giant notice saying it was “removed by order of parking enforcement.”
Apparently the reason is because I parked in one of those handicap spots even though the entire parking lot was practically empty. I come here all the time and those spots are never used. But somehow the one time I use it for a quick stop they act like I committed some serious crime.
Now I’m standing in the middle of the parking lot trying to figure out how I’m even supposed to drive home with no license plate while people walk by staring at the notices taped to my car like I’m some kind of criminal. All this over a parking spot that sits empty most of the day anyway
